Men's Open - Sayce Cup
The Men’s Open (Sayce Cup) took place on Sunday 4th May; a field of 84 players representing 17 different clubs from across the UK.
Scoring was excellent as was the golf course!
Special thanks to Builth Wells Garages for their sponsorship of the competition along with the car display around the golf course.

Seniors Team Open Competition
The first open competition of 2025 took place at Builth Wells on Wednesday 16th April, with the Seniors Team Open. The format was a team of four, 2 scores to count on holes 1-6, 3 scores on holes 7-12 and all 4 scores on holes 13-18 with 85% handicap allowance.
The golf course was in excellent condition given the very dry weather of the past 5 weeks; the scores reflected how well the golf course was playing despite the cold conditions on the day.
A big thank you to lady members, Dee Rees & Val Rodgers for administering the scorecards and taking entry fees from start to finish

The final draw of 2024 took place on Tuesday 31st December and the lucky winners were as follows:

Past Captains Dinner, Saturday 9th November 2024
The Past Captains Dinner was held on Saturday 9th November; an enjoyable evening was had by all with good food, fine wine and good company!
Memorial Team of Three Open 2024
The final Open competition of 2024 was the Memorial Team of Three on Sunday 13th October. The format was 2 scores to count on all holes apart from 6, 13 & 18 where all 3 scores were to count.
33 teams of 3 entered the open which was an excellent entry for the time of year.
